Serpil Şenyüz Kut, born on October 30, 1987, in Bandırma, has been passionate about creativity and design from an early age. After completing her high school education in Bandırma, she moved to Istanbul to pursue her dream of becoming an interior architect and studied Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Bahçeşehir University. Even during her university years, she took part in freelance projects, taking her first steps into the world of design at an early age.
In 2008, Serpil had the opportunity to work with renowned Italian architect Andrea Ponzi in Florence for a year. This experience significantly shaped and enriched her design perspective. It was during this period that she developed her design philosophy, combining modern elegance with a timeless sense of sophistication. Following her graduation, she began her professional career at Misa Architecture, where she worked on various projects.
One of the most significant turning points in her career came in 2013, when she joined DEMSA Group. During her three years there, she played an active role in the creative and implementation processes of The St. Regis Istanbul Hotel, one of the most important projects of her career. During her time at DEMSA, she also managed projects for internationally renowned luxury brands such as La Fayette, Gucci, Harvey Nichols, Tom Ford, and Lanvin, further strengthening her expertise in the luxury retail sector.
In 2018, Serpil took her professional journey a step further by establishing her own firm, Serpil Şenyüz Interiors (SSI). Since its establishment, SSI has successfully completed numerous projects, including residences, villas, boutique stores, offices, hotels, and yachts. Each project reflects Serpil’s commitment to quality, creativity, and functional design.
Serpil Şenyüz’s design approach is based on creating timeless, personalized living spaces that achieve a harmonious balance between aesthetics and functionality. By bringing modern lines together with warmth and a sense of hospitality, she aims for every project to reflect the personality and needs of its clients. Sustainability and harmony with nature are also at the heart of her design philosophy. Her goal is to create spaces that are not only visually striking but also enhance the quality of life of those who experience them.
One of the greatest sources of inspiration throughout her design journey has been her late father, Muhittin Şenyüz, a civil engineer.
SSI places sustainability and harmony with nature at the heart of its design process, bringing warm materials such as wood, marble, and natural textures together with elegant forms to create timeless and comfortable spaces. Through open communication and collaboration, SSI aims to develop the most suitable solutions tailored to the needs and expectations of its clients.
